Opening a cold call well is crucial. You’ve got two seconds to make your first impression.
There’s been loads written about the best way to open your sales calls. Here’s just a handful of suggestions from around the web:
Sales DNA says “don’t be too clever”. Start with a simple “Hi, John?” or even “I’m not sure if this is relevant for you“.
Mr. Cold Call suggests you open with the atrocious “this will be the most important call that you take today!”
